SUMMARY:When Concerns Arise | Cuando se Presentan Preocupaciones
DESCRIPTION:When Concerns Arise \nThe “When Concerns Arise” workshop is designed for licensed child care providers and Center staff from Napa County who\, in their role as caregivers\, are often the first to notice when a child shows a difference in their development. Facilitated by CRC staff trained through WestEd’s Beginning Together Program\, this workshop explores what to do in those situations\, how to talk with families\, how to offer support\, and what resources to share are some of the questions we will address to guide and strengthen providers in their work. \nThis workshop has two parts: the first focuses on information and shared activities; the second is designed for providers to reflect on their experiences and plan how their child care program will address concerns that may arise with a child \nPart 1: Friday\, October 23rd\, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm \nPart 2: Friday\, November 6th\, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm \n*This workshop is offered as a two-part series. Participants who attend both sessions will receive exclusive materials to support their learning. \nRegister today\, space is limited. Dinner is included!\n \nCuando se Presentan Preocupaciones \nEl taller “Cuando se Presentan Preocupaciones” está diseñado para proveedores de cuidado infantil con licencia y personal de centros del condado de Napa que\, en su rol de cuidadoras\, suelen ser las primeras en notar cuando un niño muestra alguna diferencia en su desarrollo. Facilitado por personal de CRC capacitado a través del Programa Beginning Together de WestEd\, este taller explora qué hacer en esas situaciones\, cómo hablar con las familias\, cómo ofrecer apoyo y qué recursos compartir son algunas de las preguntas que abordaremos para guiar y fortalecer a las proveedoras en su trabajo. \nEste taller tiene dos partes: la primera se centra en información y actividades compartidas; la segunda está diseñada para que las proveedoras reflexionen sobre sus experiencias y planifiquen cómo su programa de cuidado infantil abordará las preocupaciones que puedan surgir con un niño. \nParte 1: Viernes\, 23 de octubre de 2026\, de 6:00 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. \nParte 2: Viernes\, 6 de noviembre de 2026\, de 6:00 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. \n*Se ofrece como una serie de dos partes.
