Kit was born and raised in rural Vermont, later spending formative years studying in Quebec, Canada, the University of Vermont, and at a performing arts conservatory in both New York City and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. After discovering a passion for wine while working in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, Kit moved to the Napa Valley in 2010 to learn about winegrowing first-hand. Now nearly a decade and a half in the industry, Kit has had the privilege of working with some of the finest winemakers, vintners, and executives in California at ADAMVS, Paul Hobbs Wines, Dana Estates, Constellation Brands and Simon Family Estate. She is currently Vice President, Fine Wine at Trinchero Family Estates. As a working mother of two (Hendrix, 9, and Ophelia, 4) Kit and her husband Eddie have experienced first-hand the stress and worry that go along with seeking and retaining high quality childcare and has witnessed friends, employees and colleagues experience these struggles. Kit is passionate about the CRC’s work and proliferating their message throughout the Napa Valley. She believes that the children of the Napa Valley deserve access to high quality care, and their parents and caregivers deserve our support and all the enrichment and encouragement that our community can provide. 

Gina Stanwood Kramer, MA, LMFT, was raised in Southern California, where a deep sense of community and a love for human connection were instilled early on. She studied Child Development and Cultural Anthropology as an undergraduate at California State University, Long Beach, and went on to obtain a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at University of San Francisco. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the past 25 years, Gina has built a career centered on compassion, healing, and advocacy, working across a variety of settings—from preschools, public and private schools, nonprofits, and now private practice. In 2012, Gina completed the Napa Infant-Parent & Early Childhood Mental Health Fellowship, which led to her endorsement by the state of California as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Practice Facilitator II. In her private practice, which has been based in Napa Valley for the past 18 years, Gina not only serves children, families, and adults directly, but also trains MFT Associates with a strong emphasis on client-centered care, as well as community engagement and support. As a mother of two young adults, Gina understands the challenges local families face—particularly when it comes to accessing quality childcare and emotional support, while working full time. She is dedicated to helping families build stronger, healthier relationships while accessing the community supports that everyone deserves. Gina is passionate about the work of CRC and believes strongly that when we invest in children and families, as well as in the professionals who care for the children and their families, we strengthen the entire community!

Gabriela “Gaby” Narvaez, born and raised in Napa, is an experienced childcare provider with a diverse professional background. She discovered her passion for caring for children through babysitting jobs and pursued a career in child development and nursing. Gaby dedicated ten years to ophthalmology before deciding to become a stay-at-home parent. During the COVID pandemic, she expanded her family to three children. Motivated by her love for children, Gaby embarked on the journey of opening her own childcare home, aiming to provide a nurturing and educational environment for all children. CRC has played a crucial role in supporting her through becoming a licensed childcare provider and with the resources since. Gaby recognizes the immense value of early childcare education and is passionate about providing a nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of young children. With dedication, compassion, and a genuine commitment to children’s well-being, Gaby Narvaez creates a warm and loving space for their growth.

Julia is a Northern California native who has lived in Napa since 2015. As a proud, first-generation college graduate, she experienced firsthand the unique challenges first-generation students face—a journey that led her to the Student Support Services TRIO program, where dedicated counseling helped her transfer from Napa Valley College to the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Driven to give back, she later became a Nav-Cal Fellow, guiding incoming transfer students through the various supports within the UC Berkeley campus.
Julia’s professional background includes North Bay Regional Center, Napa County Public Health and the Napa County Office of Education. Currently, she works with Silverado Farming Company, empowering vineyard workers by connecting them with essential housing resources, family support programs, educational opportunities for employees and their student-age children, and basic needs. Deeply invested in her community, Julia serves on the local housing commission, sits on the Community Programs and Grants Committee for the Napa Valley Community Foundation, and volunteers with the Farmworker Foundation and Napa Valley Together.  Julia actively connects valley vineyard workers with CRC’s childcare services, including the toy library and classroom programs. During a recent outreach effort, she shared the unique childcare challenges families face during harvest. Her insights inspired a group of local childcare providers to explore expanding their operating hours to better support workers during the peak season. Supporting and scaling meaningful community initiatives like this is why she dedicated to serving on the board of directors. Outside of her professional life, she loves camping, thrifting and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Canela and Xena

Megan is a CPA with a diverse professional background in accounting, banking and the wine industry. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting.  Megan began her career with Grant Thornton, LLP providing tax services to various clients leading to her transition to the banking industry where she spent six years at Heritage Oaks Bank in SEC Reporting and Financial Analysis. In 2017, Megan and her family relocated to the Napa Valley where she joined Crimson Wine Group as their SEC Reporting Manager steering her to take on Controller roles at Fior di Sole and Sequoia Grove Winery and her current position as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Clif Family Winery and Farm. Her attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to navigate complex financial regulations has made her a crucial asset to financial teams.  Megan enjoys living in Napa with her husband, Marc, and two children Jackson and Avery and admires the community of child care providers and supporters in the valley.
