• Bryan Ayala Muniz

    Family Support Case Manager

Bryan was born in Napa and raised in American Canyon. He is the oldest of 5 siblings, with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Bryan has 2 dogs (a German Sheperd Mix and Shih Tzu/ Poodle mix) which love to play ALL the time and a grey tabby cat mix, which only likes pets when she is hungry and hanging out by the window to talk to birds.

Bryan has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of California, Merced. Bryan became interested in sociology, learning how societies are structured and how cultural norms and institutions shape our daily lives. This helped provide him a better understanding of his family and why they act and do things differently than other families. With his family coming from Mexico, they are living in a different society, and they had to change and adapt.

Bryan began his career as a behavioral therapist and quickly discovered he enjoyed customer service roles providing help and guidance to sensitive communities. With growth, Bryan transitioned into a new role as a case manager in San Rafael helping immigrants obtain vocational certificates so they could have an easy transition into the labor market. He enjoyed very much, the success stories of these individuals overcoming their difficulties and seeing them flourish in a new country.

In Bryan’s free time, he is usually hanging out with his siblings and/or pets. Some of his hobbies include playing soccer on the weekends and being outdoors (hiking, camping, and going on road trips!)
