Anti-Bias Community Of practice is a safe space for Early Childhood Educators to reflect, discuss, and put into practice their anti-bias lens. Conversations and content will include partnering with every family, connecting with every child, and designing universally designed environments with an equity lens.
Who: Early Educators who want to design and provide children and families with equitable learning spaces that support and celebrate each child.
Why: Changing practices through self-reflection is hard work! Having a safe space to connect with other educators, ask questions, and share ideas can help you do this work in a meaningful and engaging way.
When: First Wednesdays from 6- 7:30, participants must be able to commit attending the majority of PLCs over an 18 month period (excluding summers).
How: Participants themselves will help develop each month’s agenda, share resources, and support each other as they strengthen their anti-bias practices.
Intended audience: Family child care providers, and educators caring for young children other than their own. Participants must be living or working in Napa County
