Hot Topic Conversations
About the program:
Community Connections to Early Learning is a program that introduces Hot Topics related to early childhood education and child development to families, caregivers, child care providers, and the community. These Hot Topic Conversations are free and open to everyone in the community but do require prior registration as seating is limited.
Community organizations and individuals are invited to share their expertise in topics related to early childhood education, healthy growth, and child development. Please contact Lindi Gallagher at lgallagher@crcnapa.org or phone at (707) 253-0376 x110 for more information.

HOT TOPIC CONVERSATION: SCHOOL READINESS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
If you missed Our Hot Topic Conversation on School Readiness Skills, here are some of the topics we discussed. School readiness is so much more than ABC’s, colors, and shapes; we shared ideas on how to support the social-emotional needs of children and how to build self-care and communication skills. The number one activity that the group reported as important to do right now at home or in child care? ROUTINES and healthy SLEEP habits!
