Caterpillar Cuties
What You’ll Need:
Paper Plates
Colorful paper (for the head)
Different color tissue paper
Goodly Eyes
Crayons or Markers
Glue
Scissors (grown-up help may be needed!)
Let’s Make It!
Step 1 – Let’s Make a body
Fold & Snip. Fold your paper plate in half. Now, carefully cut it in half with scissors.
Cut off the bumpy outer edge of the plate, this will become your caterpillar’s body!
Step 2 – Let’s Add some color!
Grab your tissue paper and cut (or tear!) it into little squares in lots of different colors.
Glue, glue, glue! Spread glue on your paper plate strip and start sticking on your colorful squares.
Layer them, mix them, make it as bright and wiggly as you can!
Step 3. Let’s make a face!
Cut a big circle from color paper for the head.
Then cut: 2 small circles and 2 long rectangles (for the antenna) Glue the small pieces and antenna onto the big circle to make a silly or sweet face.
Step 4 – Bring it to life!
Add googly eyes and draw a happy smile! Glue the head onto one end of your colorful caterpillar body.

🐛 Oruguitas Encantadoras
Artículos que se necesitan:
Platos de papel
Papel de colores (para la cabeza)
Papel de seda de diferentes colores
Ojos móviles

Tijeras (¡quizá se necesite la ayuda de un adulto!)
¡A crearlo!
Paso 1: ¡Hagamos el cuerpo!
Dobla tu plato de papel por la mitad. Ahora, con cuidado, córtalo por la mitad con tijeras.
Corta el borde ondulado del plato. ¡este será el cuerpo de tu oruguita!
Paso 2: ¡Agreguemos color!
Con cuidado, toma tu papel de seda y córtalo (¡o rómpelo!) en pequeños cuadritos de muchos colores.
¡Pega, pega, pega! Pon pegamento en la tira del plato y comienza a pegar los cuadritos de colores. ¡Encimalos, mézclalos y hazla lo más brillante y divertida posible!
Paso 3: ¡Hagamos la carita!
Recorta un círculo grande de papel de color para la cabeza.
Luego recorta: 2 círculos pequeños y 2 rectángulos largos (para las antenitas). Pega las piezas pequeñas y las antenitas en el círculo grande para crear una cara divertida o dulce.
Paso 4: ¡Dale vida!
Agrega los ojos móviles y dibuja una gran sonrisa.
Luego pega la cabeza en uno de los extremos del cuerpo de tu oruguita.
