Thank you for your continued support and for sharing our vision of a promising future for all of Napa County’s young children.  This year we are celebrating the women who nurture and care for our children and we are very excited to invite you to attend, sponsor and donate in honor of the families, children and child care providers that we serve.

We Care For Children: a farm-to-table reception and fundraiser

Place: Hirondelle House at Clos Du Val Winery

Featuring Project She Cares, guests will peruse a collection of powerful stories and portraits from local child care providers while enjoying a fabulous farm-to-table installation provided by La Saison andrelaxing in the beautiful and serene indoor/outdoor space at Clos du Val. Prepare to be pampered by the friendly hospitality team at Clos Du Val as they pour exclusive wines that are generously being donated to our guests by the winery.

Project She Cares is a multimedia campaign that features women in child care who nurture and care for children in our community. The goal is to empower women child care providers and to raise awareness about the important work that they do.

Free Vision Screenings, Exams and Glasses at CRC

Once again, CRC is partnering with Vision to Learn to provide free vision screenings, eye exams and glasses to children ages 5-18. Children who already have glasses are welcome – having a second pair of glasses is always a good idea! Parents or primary caregivers are required to attend to sign consent for an in-depth eye exam (if needed).  Registration is recommended but not required through this link.

What a great Provider Appreciation Night!  Local child care providers enjoyed the various “minute to win it” games, catching up with friends, self-care bags, a light dinner and wine tasting provided by Greg Schaefer of Porter Family Vineyards and Humberto Guivarello.

Thank You Napa Valley Vintners!

On April 24th we had the pleasure of giving staff from the Napa Valley Vintners a tour of our Toy Library and Early Learning Center and sharing with them about our programs through hands-on activities; we introduced them to one of our brand new STEAM kits that we train child care providers and caregivers to use to engage with the children under their care so that they are prepared to enter Kindergarten ready to learn!
